I am not saying motion pictures weren't oftentimes stupid or censored by taboo back then its just they seemed so contained in the politically correct box these days. I really have a hard time relating to a lot of the material produced before 1968 not because it is necessarily bad but because it seems like it was censored for fear of Christian sensibilities. Likewise, it is hard to enjoy post-1990 films because they are usually so Culturally Marxian politically correct and thus predictable and unrealistic. I even like the way authority figures were criticized in 1968-1990 films in a way they really never were before or later.
